Have you ever made and indoor slip 'n slide?

Let me tell you how.... You leave 1 precocious 3 1/2 yr old alone w/ her 10 month old brother (and a bag from grammy's that has spray sunscreen in it) long enough to load and unload the laundry. WahLaa! When you return your freshly mopped family room will be nicely greased and your children will be having a giddy 'ole time sliding "to and fro" around the room!

How would you suggest getting that up? I've tried mopping it's still slick!

  • LOL! Maybe make a solution from dishwashing soap to cut the grease? I'm terrible with housekeeping, so I'm not much help! If the Swiffer can't get it up, I tend to just move onWink

  • I am with the girls who thought, 'But why?' lol

I agree with Purrrfect433....dishwashing soap to cut the grease!

  • Oh. my. goodness.  That's hysterical!

ditto the dawn dish soap.  That's actually what I always use to mop our hardwoods.  A bucket of warm soapy water (dawn.)  That should def work.

  • Lol. I have no idea how to clean that up and I feel for you but that was the funniest thing I've heard in a while. I bet they were having a grand old time.

I was also thinking "why would anyone do that?"
