If you have a front load washer please come in

I know you are supposed to leave the door open to let the rubber seal air dry but how often do you do this? Every day? Every other day or so? I just got this washer a couple of weeks ago and I try to leave it open at least once a day, but I wasn't sure if that is too much or not enough.

After every load. It just stays open until we use it again. I also leave the little drawer where you pour the soap and stuff in open as well.

Wow, I've never heard of this... and we've had our washer for a year. ?Oops! ?I guess I should start doing that.

I also leave mine open until the next load. It will happen sometime where you forget a load in there, and it will stink. Lowe's sells a cleaner that works great. It's a large tablet that you just run through a wash cycle and it smells great when it's done! I try to do that once a month so that no stink builds up.
