Fasting at 12am for C-section tomorrow? Anyone?

Are you pigging out right now?

What time is your procedure?

Mine's after 3pm... so 15 hours w/o food or water. I'll be sleeping in 'til it's time to go!

Nutmeg, cilantro, sage, mint, thyme... these are a few of my favorite things! Visit The Nest!Visit The Nest! We have four children; one left us too soon.

    Prima said they told her after midnight as well and hers is at 4 I think, that sounds so excesive! Especially considering how long it is before you get to eat real food. I was bad, I ate a banana and had a bottle of water like an hour before I went in at 11 am. I was starving! This time mine is at 8 am, have to be there at 6 so not so bad.

    oooh... 3pm- that sucks!  Best of luck with the fasting - and the c/s!

    personally- i see no reason why you can eat in the morning tomorrow... My c/s is at 7:15am and I only have to fast from midnight on .... If i was at 3pm I'd be sneakin some food for breakfast :)

    Oh yeah, and I'm taking a tylenol PM the night before as well to be able to sleep through the night this time. I slept like CRAP last time.

    I will be doing this tuesday night. I am scheduled for 8am on Wednesday morning. Good luck to you! I am going to make a list of stuff to eat on Tuesday :0) I am thinking burger, fries and strawberry milk shake then nothing after 10pm on Tuesday. My nerves are already frazzled thinking that it is only 2 days away.

    My c section is schedule for 2:30 o the 8th and I can eat up until 6am and drink clear liquids until 8:00. My OB said 8 hrs for food and 6 for liquids. I was dreading being so dehydrated and getting an IV. I was so worried about this that I brought it up at my last appointment the nurse who called about my scheduling had said nothing after midnight.
