I would like to put some kind of netting around one side of the baby's crib. ?Anyone doing/ did something similar? ?If so, did you suspend it from the ceiling or wall? ?Can I see pics.?
I guess I wouldn't know why you were putting it up.
We have three cats, and I fear that they will get in bed with our LO. We have to leave the door open for air circulation (we have no AC) so we put up a screen door on the baby's room to keep the cats out and still allow the door to be open.
I have heard of others doing this, not sure if it would help you or not. The door was $20 at Home Depot and we had to get small hinges, but it looks great. I will post a pic, if it would help you, just let me know.?
Let me clarify. ?I'm not using it as an actual mosquito net but for decoration and it wouldn't go around baby crib just serve almost as a backdrop for the crib.
Ohh ok. I understand. You are planning on taking it down once your LO is old enough to stand right? I would have fears that it would pull on it and pull it down and get tangled in it.
Provided that, I can see how it would look nice while your LO is very small still. Not sure what to tell you on how to put it up. I've never put one up before. Good luck!
My sister called it a death trap and said that it was just a matter of time before my LO choked or hung themselves on it. I do think they are pretty, but she made me paranoid. I'm also having a boy and only wanted this if I was having a girl. I do honestly see her point now that I'm watching my niece grow up- she's 7 months now.
