How many do you plan on having?

So this is my second bundle of joy. I had my son at 24 and now I am expecting a girl at 28. The moment they handed me my son, I said that I wanted another one. I think this completes the package for me. I have been researching tubal ligation and plan on having the procedure done after Riley is born. Anyone else thought about this and if not, how many children do you plan on having?

This is our first, but I want 2-3. ?I think it depends on "how it goes" once I'm a real mom. ?DH says he wants to wait 5 years between kids, but I want to wait 3. ?We'll see.?

Hmmm..let's see.. I'm one who started fairly young, @ 16 w/ my first, 18 w/my 2nd, 20 w/ my 3rd, and 22 w/ my 4th! Now, @ 28 i'm having my 5th! I'm blessed w/ my children, though there are times where I feel as if the "teenage" angst got the best of me. My current pregnancy came as a surprise, and I know he is my lil' blessing, I too am researching tubal! Excuse me if TMI!

DH and I agree that we'll have this one for a while and see how it goes! I do picture us with two and when we talk about our family we say "kids." We know that parenting is going to be a challenge, a great one, but still challenging and so we aren't kidding ourselves with deciding one way or another yet. Either way, DH will be getting snipped when we decide we've had enough kids. I've already spent half my life trying not to get pg, and I'm the one who has to be pg, and after this one I'm going to have an IUD. It's only fair that he does his part.

This completes our biological line, however we plan/hope/pray we can adopt another in a few years.

i go back and forth between wanting another, and wanting to be done. it's hard to think of this current pregnancy as being my last! i have awesome pregnancies, and seriously think it's fun. I know, i'm weird. Also, it's my second boy, and while i'm thrilled that my little guy will have a buddy, part of me kinda wants a little girl.. however- i plan on going to school once the youngest is about 3, and don't really want to prolong it too long. also, DH's entire family is in Malaysia, a 27H plane ride away, and the thought of having more than 2 is a bit daunting to travel with for that long. we'll see how it plays out, i guess.?

I am good after this one, but I have no plans either way. In 2 years, or 5 years we may want another. I'm not worrying about it, taking it one kid at a time. I always wanted to have more then 1 and wanted to sort of get it over with fast (the pregnancy part and phsyical part, not meaning I want the age to go fast) and I am very happy, we had them this close so I can be home with them which is my priority but I am good with the 2 and will worry about having more or not having more, later

This is our first. We will have 1 or 2 more. Not exactly sure... sure that we will have at least 2 but no more than 3... We'll see how number 2 goes.

The plan is to TTC #2 when DS is around 1, so they're fairly close in age (about 2 years or less). If we end up having a 3rd, I think that s/he will be a good 3 or 4 years younger than DC #2. I don't know if I can handle three children in rapid succession!

We've always talked about 2 or 3. Both of us are the oldest of 3. With the problems I've had with this pg, if I have the same with baby #2, we'll probably end at 2. Then I'll have a hysterectomy to be done with all these problems with my ute. Plus, we're already going to be the oldest parents at pre-school so if we have too many, we'll be paying for college tuition with our social security Wink

We suffered through IF for quite some time before we got pg. with this miracle. We won't be preventing anything from happening but given how hard it was to have this first one--I wouldn't be surprised if it's the only bio baby we have. We are planning on looking into being foster parents and possibly foster-to-adopt parents in the future.
