You could always take after me...ignorance is bliss! LOL.
As of right now its looking like induction for me, I was only 1cm last monday. While I will read the birth stories on the boards, especially the inductions I will not google.
The induction will either work or not, and I will end up with a csection. I don't want a csection but , what exactly are you supposed to do about it?!
SBLAY - Stay away from google! It freaked me out too! The pitocin wasn't bad and I never felt anything until I was at 4cm and they broke my water. After that I lasted about 4 contractions and asked for my epi...then it was easy (take the drugs, haha). The hardest part of it all was only having ice chips to eat and the BP cuff suffocating my arm every 15-30 minutes.
You'll do fine!

I had both with dd and it was a great experience. I may just ask to just go that way this time also. I have to agree the worst part was my iv and the blood pressure cuff.

I absolutely agree- the BP cuff was the absolute worst part for me. I had pitocin b/c my water had broken but I wasn't progressing. A few hours later got the epi, went to sleep for a few more, woke up and it was time to push. 34 minutes later, she was here. Stay away from the google!

Don't stress..it'll probably be fine. I only had cervadil w/ my first pg & went into labor "naturally" from there...never even needed the Pitocin (my water broke while getting an epidural--LOL). It was fine--12hours total.
My 2nd I only had Pitocin & it was great. 6 hours total.

Don't stress too much. You never know how it will go for you. Hopefully it goes extremely well. I had both with my first and the whole delivery from check in to birth was 4 hours. Good luck!

Hopefully they pregnancy Gods have agreed - I have suffered enough throughout my pregnancy and will make L&D pretty easy.
I hate google. A few weeks ago I was having dizzy spells/seeing stars, and google had me convinced it was either pre-eclampsia or kidney failure.
It was an ear infection.
Step away from the Google!
I know how you feel though. I'm looking at an induction Tuesday if little man doesn't show up soon.

I had both as well, and labored only 6 hrs. Just trying to send you some optimism.
