Rough Night (vent)

in 3rd Trimester

DH is in the Air Force and is on a mission assisting the President in IN this weekend.  He and I have been at odds lately due to my hormonal outbursts.  Tonight, he called to tell me about his day and I mentioned that I felt some distance between us.  Usually, we can talk for hours on the phone about anything and everything. 

He simply said "well, I will see you tomorrow then" and hung up. 

I called him back to tell him that I love him and ask why he didn't say the same.  He just said "I'm tired" and so I hung up

This is so not like us. 

He comes home early Monday morning.  I hope everything goes back to normal.

    Aw I'm sorry I know the feeling. My DH is on the road Monday thru Thrusday every week and I will be lucky if I get him on the phone for more than ten mins. Then he comes home for the weekends like tonight and goes out with his buddies. Hormones don't help things.

    DH doesn't understand why I love this site so much, but it's bc the women on here are going thru the same things. It's nice to be able to vent and not get those looks like your crazy.

    I'm sorry. ?DH doesn't travel for work, but I'll talk to him generally once a day when he's at work. ?Sometimes he seems very interested in talking, other times not at all. ?I'll tell him that his voice sounds different and he doesn't seem into talking, and he blames it on the fact that he's at work. But he's not always like that, so it's frustrating when he is.

    I really don't have advice for you, but I'm sorry you're dealing with it. ?I'm sure when you two see each other on Monday everything will be great!?
