to shame. She was in labor on Monday and continued to teach her class while timing her contractions. The then goes on to give birth to a 10lb 5 oz baby with no drugs.
She set the bar way too high for the rest of us.

Wow! Was this her first? I would have been running around in circles yelling "OMG, OMG! I'm having contractions!!!"

Missed m/c 10/25/10 @ 11.5 weeks
No! Not a chance of that happening in my classroom. What was she thinking? Standing and teaching was going to make her dialate faster? As for the no drugs- I can't even comment. No way. No chance. No how.
Ok, so I am having BH ones but I am also having regular contractions without dialation so I do write down the start times when I am teaching but only because I ahve to see if I am having 6 in an hour. They aren't painful but they are an annoying side effect of polyhydro.
As soon as I started having frequent Braxton Hicks, I made the call to stop teaching. I couldn't concentrate and felt like crap.
I don't need to be martyr...or to have my hubby drive an hour to come get me at work.
