3rd Trimester

Got my Bravado nursing tanks!

They came last night in the mail and I LOVE them! They are very comfortable and supportive. Sizing was a little difficult (I thought), because I was a 34B/C before pregnancy (with implants, so smaller than a C, but 'fuller' than a B)...then during pregnancy, I'm a 34C...I ordered the 34 B/C tanks and they fit well and there is some room for growth. I only bought 2 (a black one and white one) b/c I'm not sure if I really will go through with BF, so we'll see. But I bought them from www.breakoutbras.com and received them with free shipping in less than a week!

Re: Got my Bravado nursing tanks!

  • I really want to order them, I just can't decide what makes them that much better than the other nursing tanks. Is it the comfort level, support, etc? It's hard to pass up a deal like that if they are worth the $..

I felt the same way too...it was $60 for 2 of them, and I figured before I was pregnant, and I really liked a shirt, I'd have no problem spending $30 on it. Plus these tanks are thicker than I thought and actually look like cute tank tops...you could totally wear it out! Try it, you can always return it!

  • Are they long?

  • I only had 1 when I had DS and I had to wash it every other day because it was the only one I would wear.  They are much thicker than other tanks and much more supportive!  I'm going to get 3 or 4 more because during the summer they are the only shirt I wear around the house while BF.  And their bra's are just as great!

  • tfs! one more question, how did you determine size? I'm one of the odd ones that have gone up 2 cup sizes and a band size, which occured in the first trimester. It says to order down for band size since your rib cage will get smaller post birth.

I've been looking to buy them as well, but have no clue how to go about sizing - I'm a 32 DD right now, but pre-pregnancy I'm a 32 C - I wonder how that translates to 34 band size?
