Why all the invites now?

So everyone is sending us invites for the end of June and July, no biggie right? All of them are at least 2hrs away.

I feel bad b/c one of the events is for DH's really good college friend that we have not seen since before we got married (2 yrs ago).

    That's really too bad that you're going to have to miss the events. But you'll be a mommy!!! I'm sure that more than makes up for it!

    It isn't really that I want to go, but that I feel bad that DH cannot go. I want him to, but he won't leave me.

    Oh well, I know they all understand why we cannot be there.

    I've gotten invitations to 3 things on May 30th - a concert and a party in Seattle and a wedding in CA. I'm due June 2nd and I live up in AK so I won't get to go to any and I'm bummed. At least it solved the decision of which one to choose.
