Dear ASPCA commecials with the sad Sarah McLaughlin songs,

Can you please refrain from coming on my TV until after I give birth? I cannot look away and end up crying for 10 minutes after the commercial has ended.

    Oh, I HATE those commercials.  I literally have to change the channel - they'll depress me for the rest of the day.

    I have the change the channel immediately when they start or I am blubbering mess. I might start crying at my desk just thinking about it! DH can't handle them either, he always says right away to change the channel.

    I can not watch those commercials. They always made me upset, but now it is really bad! I have to change the channel. They shouldn't do that to people, especially pregnant women!

    I work for a vet and deal with sick/injured/dying kitties all the time and even I can't watch those commercials.  I turn the channel or leave the room every single time.

    That commercial chokes me up every time I watch it. I want to go right out and save all the dogs and cats of the world.

    OMG! I am so right there with you! Although, prego or not, i cry every single time i see that commercial. DH turns the channel as soon as it comes on because he knows the water works will flow! haha! glad to see i'm not alone...

    Pregnant or not, those commercials always get to me.  I'm such an animal lover, which is why I can't watch any animal movie at all.

    Oh God, me too. These days seeing that commercial has the potential to ruin my day. I have a beagle, and the shot with the beagle in the cage always gets me.

    My husband turns them off because for one he hates to see the mess it makes of me and for two he knows that every time I see them I want to adopt another animal (we have two dogs and two cats).
