Why does buying plane tickets have to be ...

... SO EFFING INVOLVED????

Seriously .. we want to fly from Dallas to Ft. Myers, stay for a week, and come home.  I really don't want a layover, and I want to get there a round noon.

Why is that so complicated?  Why is there only one nonstop flight on that say (a Saturday)?  Why does that one non-stop flight cost an arm and a leg and not get to FL until 930PM??? And WHY can I not use my hard earned airline miles on said flight???  HMMMMM????  WHY WHY WHY?!!!

ARGH!

    I hate buying plane tickets, check the airlines' websites, Travelocity, Expedia, etc. trying to find the very best price/schedule. It is very involved.

    UGH!  I know the feeling!  I went through the same thing just last month!  The darn miles mean NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    have you tried flying into tampa/st. pete? ?fort myers is a smaller airport hence the more expensive airfare and fewer airlines fly there. ?I dont think tampa is too far out of the way from fort myers but I could be wrong. ? maybe an hr???
