Line of severe weather in IA MO & IL

Anybody going through these right now. I am such a baby during storms and DH is not home. Ugh I HATE this. I am just watching them and waiting for them. This sucks.

    We are getting the tornado warnings across the tv now.  It doesn't seem seem that bad althought the sky is starting to look a little funny.  I love storms though...especially thunder!

    do you live in the city or how far away from the city do you live. I live about 60 miles south of the city.

    I live pretty much right in the city.  I don't remember when exactly but last year there were some CRAZY storms/tornado's in the area. 

     

    Are you having bad weather now or just warnings?

    We just have watches right now. No warnings yet but I am watching the line coming towards us and there are a few warnings where it is right now.

    I'm to the north of the city, been getting warnings for the last 3 hours. It is not raining, but there is some lightening. The Cubs game is still going in the 4th after the rain delay, so I'm assuming not too bad in the city.

    I am out in the suburbs and we have some storms started.  The line does not look that great.  We just have watches right now.

    we have really high winds and its been pouring, then it stops then comes back full force...?

    I'm west of you and we've been getting it for a couple of hours now.  It's not so bad this far north, I don't think.  The scary cells look to be south of Kansas City.

    I was out shopping earlier when the lightning was pretty fierce, it was nice - the stores were almost completely empty.
