2nd Trimester

did he just say I'm too overprotective?

DH and I are chatting and we were discussing possibly switching rooms for the baby. Giving him our (smaller) bedroom and us moving into the larger room (currently the office).

DH somehow turned that around saying that I was too worrisome and going to be overprotective, but that I was allowed because I was carrying his son. He just "doesn't want me to be so overprotective he never experiences anything, and that I need to find a good balance."

Huh?

He didn't say it in a rude tone, just.. well it certainly came off that way. Maybe I just took it wrong.

Just seemes like quite a burn for talking about a bedroom.

  • What does putting baby in a larger or smaller room have to do with being overprotective??

That's kinda what I was wondering.

  • how did he get that you are going to be overprotective and worrisome out of a discussion about bedrooms?  moody are we?  lol...ask him if "he" is pregnant.  lol.

  • Huh? What does the bedroom situation have to do with you being overprotective and him not getting to experience anything....Sounds like he's hormonal!
