Now I'm a big girl, so I'm not complaining about the eating necessary but while I'm at work it is simply inconvenient to want to eat every freaking 2 hours. Not to mention the diet my Dr has put me on an how it requires me to plan every effin thing I put in my mouth. I miss the sweet days of eating what was around for breakfast then getting hungry again around lunch time and than again when I got home for supper. Being constantly hungry and counting calories is torture. Sorry about the bitchfest.
Re: sick of being hungry!
OMG!!! That's my worst fear that my doctor is going to put me on a diet. I'm not a little lady either and I've been shoving everything in my mouth that I feel like (also because I seem to hate most things) and I've totally gained a tonne of weight already (although I'm praying it's also bloat!! ;-)
I totally feel for you!
Sorry about your diet! I am not on a doctor imposed diet, but I am tracking my food intake. I will easily eat cheeseburgers and taco bell all day if I let myself, so I try to prevent that so I don't end up gigantic. I'm not small to begin with, either.
Have you tried more fiber, protein, and complex carbs? My favorite meal in terms of fullness is tuna on fiber plus wheat bread and vegetables! My doctor said meals out of protein/complex carbs/fiber tend to not only help keep you regular, but also helps keep you satisfied longer.
Hope that helps!

Don't feel bad if you can't! I couldn't LOOK at a vegetable until I was 11 weeks. And it took me until yesterday to actually feel okay about eating them, and not like I was forcing myself.
Did you doc put you on a diet because of your weight, risk of gestational diabetes, etc? You don't have to answer, I'm just curious. I wonder now if I'll get put on a diet.

oooh i'm so sorry!! i'm terrified i'll go in to my next appt and my doc will say WHOA slow down there girl... we need to regulate your meals! SHOOT ME!
I have TONS of snacks... mostly fruit and i try to eat a really filling lunch... try popcorn too!
I finally craved vegetables last week... and that's because I think I was sadly depriving myself from them... I love my carbs though - can't get enough!!!
Nicole, It is because of my weight. =(
IIt is a 2000 calorie diet so its not that bad its just a matter of counting everything all the time. and making sure its balenced. He said I have to follow it 6 days a week and on the 7th day I can eat what I want.
I dont know if it is to loose weight or if he just wants to make sure I'm not gaining any weight that isnt baby. I will ask next visit because I read some where you shouldn't try to loose weight while you are preggers.
You and tuna
where do you find fiber wheat bread at? I actually am kinda the opposite, I was underweight when I got my BFP so I am not really restricted on anything, but nothing sounds appetizing except for fast food or crappy foods. Tuna sounds good though lol.
This! And I get into a rut about what I eat, so then I get tired of that routine and need another one!
