Someone thinks she's hot stuff and can sleep on her belly at night

UGH! I was a mess last night continually going in there to check on her breathing. I was rolling her over the first few times, and then I realized how futile that was. Who told her she could grow up!!?!???!

  • So cute. I love your Katie stories, I would have been doing the same thing, checking non stop. How is she feeling?

  • Natalie started sleeping on her belly around 5.5 months too.  I can't believe your DD is already 5 mo old!  Time is flying.  Although it's nerve racking in the beginning for moms, hopefully she's sleeping better now that she can roll onto her tummy.

  • When I got the call from DH that she rolled over the first time, I told him he needed to duct tape that girl to the floor. I'm not ready for this!!!! ;-)

Dbert, she's feeling better. I'm sure the meds are helping that. I keep meaning to upload the pics and video I took from that traumatic doctor's office appointment. It'd break your heart! She goes in for further testing in two weeks. I told my mom about it, and apparently I suffered from infections for years as a baby. The doctors kept telling her that I was "lazy" and maybe if she offered me stickers I'd stop leaking. When she finally pushed the issue enough, that's when they found the infection and then scheduled me for surgery! Not sure I'm strong enough to handle it if it comes to that. Man this motherhood gig is HARD! ;-)

  • Aww poor little thing. I saw you mention on FB about her sobbing in a crumpled gown, and that was the saddest thing I have ever heard. I could just picture it. I think our hearts hurt just as much as they are hurting when we see them like that. Hopefully this will clear up and she won't need surgery.

  • AWw Katie!! I remember when Jack rolled to his belly in his bed...he was so much happier!! I hope lil Katie's UTI stuff clears up soon and doesn't have to have any surgery or anything!!
