I think exersaucers are labled as 4+ months. We started putting DS in ours a little earlier-just to see how he would take to it and to get him used to it. But I'd say in the past 2 - 3 weeks is when he REALLY started taking to it.
Now he looks like a mad scientist in it - turning all around, playing w/ all the toys, etc. When his back is to me, I wonder "what plots is he coming up w/ to take over the world" because he looks SO intent and I can't quite see what he's doing.

We're getting DS one at 4 months (next week). We'll see how he does. He loves to sit in the Bumbo & loves to stand with us holding him, so I think he'll really like it.... if not, we'll put it away for a few weeks and try again.
I see people on here with their DCs in the exersaucer or jumpers at 2 months and that seems really early to me. I don't think we'll try with DS for another month.
Re: When is LO ready for exersaucer? NFT.
DD has been in hers since about 3 months. She really enjoys it!
