I was recently given a Peg Perego Pliko P3 and Primo Viaggo Infant Car Seat (both in excellent condition/no accidents) from a very good friend of mine. Does anyone have any experience with the Peg Perego Pliko P3 system?
I love the stroller, still use it all the time, still in great shape, and have no plans to replace it. I detest the carseat, hate it, and am buying a different one (either Graco or Chicco) for this baby.
I never used it as a travel system, we used a snap-n-go with the carseat until we moved into a convertible carseat, and then we started using the P3 more. The carseat gets really hot, and the baby would come out drenched in sweat, and the sunshade is barely useable, never stayed in place etc.
Maybe they have improved the carseat over the past few years, I dont know, but it was so much more expensive than the others on the market, it should have been perfect.
I have both and used them for my 1 yr old son...i loved the car seat and that the stroller matached and the clip in capability was great...but honestly, I HATE THE STROLLER!! I am excited to be getting a new stroller, and have an excuse cause i need a double.
i have found the frame quite flimsy feeling and this stroller is not easy to manuver with 1 hand, and trust me, you want that ability.
Thanks to everyone who responded. I have read a lot of good and some not so good things about this stroller so I figured I'd ask. I am also inheriting a Mia Moda Cielo, and have a BOB sport utility, but I planned on using the Pliko and and the Prima Viaggio as my infant 'travel' system until the babe is big enough for the BOB and the Mia Moda.

I found this to be the case. In the beginning it was great but after a while the stroller frame just seemed "loose" and flimsy. It was after some traveling and rough use. But in my opinion it should have held up to all that. Especially since it cost so much.

I have both of them, circa 2005 from baby #1.
