How far along were you when you found out the sex?

My doc gave me the paper today to get my u/s and I know it's 18-20 wks and the longer you wait, the better pic you get. Well, I want to know now and I think 19wks is all I can do.

When did you find out?

20 weeks 1 day, but my doctor's schedule all their anatomy scans for 20 weeks they think it's the best bet.

i just went to my 16 week appointment and my doctor said that hes 85% sure its a girl.

he said he will confirm it at my 20 week appointment.

My appt is set for 18 wks 5d. The Dr. I saw said between 18-20, and then the biitch midwife said she wouldn't schedule it before 20 weeks (even when I told her my SIL was coming in from Australia, and I wanted her to be there).

So I let her schedule is for 20 wks, and then called and rescehduled it for 18w 5d.

We found out when I had an optional gender scan done at 16w4d. Then I also had the required anatomy ultrasound done at 20wks.

We were given a "hint" at 14w5d, we'll find out at almost 21 weeks at our anatomy scan if the "hint" was right...pretty obvious looking though Wink

The only reason it was that early was b/c my midwives allow you to go 6 weeks between appts. at this stage, if you have no complications, so we just scheduled it for 6 weeks after our 12 week visit, so we could do the u/s and appt. the same day.

18 weeks at big u/s and confirmed (well, as much as you can confirm through an u/s) yesterday at follow-up u/s at 22 weeks.

17 weeks, 2 days. We had our anatomy u/s the day before but by the time she checked the gender (the last part of the scan), the baby had had enough.

19 wks with this pregnancy & 14 wks with my first ds. With my first it was so early because I was having a lot of pain & they did an ultrasound just to check if everything was okay and the technician asked it I wanted to know sex because she was able to see it already, otherwise I would have known at 18 wks with him.
