Anyone have to take Z-Pack while pg?

I am so sick and have been for days and the Dr. called in a Z-Pack. Have any of you ever taken this while pg?

I did. I think it was around 9 weeks or so. It's fine to take it while pregnant. I hope you feel better soon!

I have. It's safe. I had a horrible sinus infection and needed to treat it. The doctor said I was doing more harm to the baby by being as sick as I was than if I was to take medicine. I ended up losing like 5 lbs in the first tri, mostly because I was too sick to eat or drink anything. If you need it, you should take it. That particular anitbiotic is safe.

I haven't while pregnant but I usually end up taking one every year at some point. Last year I did like 3 time. I'm prone to illness. I hope my baby doesn't get the same luck.

I did. I took one just two weeks ago. My doctor said it was fine, and I seemed to be fine while on it, plus I got better much faster.

What they said. You and your lo will be fine. The dr. told me the same thing about doing more harm being so sick than taking the antibiotics.

I had a dr try to perscrible me levaquin first though, an e.r. dr. Very not safe. It's never a bad idea to do a little research yourself if you aren't sure it's safe. I was really glad I looked up the levaquin.

Yes. I took one when I had a sinus infection while pregnant with my son. I was in my 2nd trimester.

I took one last week for a tonsil infection -- the only side effect I had was I got a minor UTI.

I am right now. Ended up with the worst sinus infection last week. Today is the last pill I have to take. Like everyone else said its fine to take while PG. Hope you feel better!
