How important is it to have a snack tray on your stroller??

What's your opinion of having a snack tray on a stroller?  Is it a must have or it's not needed at all?

  • for younger toddlers - a must. for older toddlers - not important at all IMO

  • We've never used it for snacks, but I like that DS can hold on to it.  He sometimes likes to pull up a little further to see things.  We mainly use it to attach toys to.  Anything DS plays with has to be attached to the stroller with rings - otherwise it goes overboard.
  • Our stroller does not have a snack tray but we are not at the point where he needs solid snacks while we are out.  I'm sure that later on, in some months, he will need snacks but he should be able to hold his container well by then.

  • My combi has one that is removable...
  • Personally, I would want one. I like to put DS's sippy there, or snacks if he'll be in it for a while. Plus he likes to lean forward and hang on to it!
  • I have never once used the snack tray on my stroller.  Well, maybe to hold a binky for 2.5 seconds but that's really it.  We stopped using our big graco travel system stroller around 6 mo and began using a chicco umbrella stroller.

  • I don't have one and don't miss it.

I used to nanny for a family since the kids were born until 4 and 2 and I never missed it either. I'm not into the eat while we walk around thing. Kids don't miss it if they've never had it KWIM?

I'd rather stop for a snack or teach have a ziplock bag and not toss it over if we are on a longer stroll. It's always worked for me.?

  • We have 1 stroller with a tray and 1 without. ?So far the tray has been useless b/c he can't reach it. ?Maybe when he gets older it will be convenient to put his sippy in the cupholder.

  • We use ours all the time - or rather DD does.  We live near a neighborhood burger joint, so walking there for dinner makes meal times really easy - I trust myself to clean the stroller better than the bar tables!

Plus, we walked around the zoo on Sunday, and eating snacks to keep her happy was awesome!

  • Ours doesn't have one and I never gave it a second thought. I guess it might come in handy in certain situations, but I guess that would depend on your lifestyle. We mostly just use our stroller for neighborhood walks.
  • We have a removeable one. DS uses it a lot for snacks when he's in the  stroller at DD's sports practices/games.
