1) How old was DC when you attempted Ferber for the first time?

1) How old was DC when you attempted Ferber for the first time? 7.5 months
2) How many days before you saw results? We did this two nights ago and last night he STTN for the first time EVER. So...one!
3) What was the longest DC ever cried? Only 5-10 minutes, I patted him back to sleep.
4) Did you attempt to feberize bedtime and naps at the same time? NO! We have only done bedtime, not naps.
5) How did you deal with teething if it occured during or after feberizing? He's not teething yet.
6) Have you had to referberize? If so, did you see results more quickly the subsequent time? n/a
7) Any other comments/feedback on your experiences would be helpful.
1. about 7 months
2. a week the first time around
3. an hour and 15 mins on and off she would stop then start again- that was the first night.
4. we just did bedtime
5. she wasn't teething at the time but it says in the book if they are sick or teething to wait until they feel better to do it.
6. yes we had to referberize due to moving and the 2nd time it only 2-3 nights before she was back to sttn

1) How old was DC when you attempted Ferber for the first time? First time was at 7 months, but she got sick, teething, etc. So we just did it at 11 months.
2) How many days before you saw results? Day 1 was even better than I expected. She cried for 11 minutes, and every night since has been less than a minute.
3) What was the longest DC ever cried? 11 minutes
4) Did you attempt to feberize bedtime and naps at the same time? Nope, we haven't done naps yet. My dad watches her during the day and he refuses to do it.
5) How did you deal with teething if it occured during or after feberizing? We didnt have to, but she wasnt a fussy teether.
6) Have you had to referberize? If so, did you see results more quickly the subsequent time? Absolutely. The first time we didnt do it long enough before she got sick.
7) Any other comments/feedback on your experiences would be helpful. It seems mean, and unfair to do that to a child. But I honestly wouldnt' have it any other way. She sleeps through the night, and is MUCH happier because of it.

2) How many days before you saw results? Day 2, he cried for 10 min only
3) What was the longest DC ever cried? 40 minutes, the first night
4) Did you attempt to feberize bedtime and naps at the same time? Daycare tries with naps, but it hasn't worked
5) How did you deal with teething if it occured during or after feberizing? He was teething and sick right after we started (day 4). We stopped and coslept until he felt better.
6) Have you had to referberize? If so, did you see results more quickly the subsequent time? Yes. He only cried 10 minutes the first night.
7) Any other comments/feedback on your experiences would be helpful. Right now I think he is going through separation anxiety. So at night he goes right to sleep but wakes up at 1-2 and won't go back to sleep. I am exhausted. Ferber has not worked for that recently.
