PC, I'm honestly not digging at you, but at what point does the effort of having another kid become minimal?
Financially, I think the first kid is the most expensive, but every child after that becomes less of a burden because of the initial expenses.
Mentally, once you have multiple children, won't the older ones often entertain themselves by playing with each other?
This is just what I've heard from my grandparents. Both sets had 5 children each. One of DH's grands had 7 biological boys and 4 foster children. They could have had their own reality show.
Re: Is having another kid that much more effort?
Yeah. I don't have personal experience with this but it seems like the work would go up exponentially!! I don't know if there is a certain age where it is "easier" or not. Just think about when you had a newborn- can you imagine having a toddler to attend to as well??? Unless they are alot older and way independent it's going to be HARD.
Oh, I definitely believe this. I wouldn't think the work gets less (or at least tapers off) until after you have 3.
