It gives us one more option for a place to put DD when we need our hands free but want her to be close to us. She sits on the Bumbo on the table while we eat dinner. We'll move her into her high chair when she starts solids. I've also used the Bumbo when we play with some toys on the floor. It's nice to give her a chance to practice sitting.
very portable and you can put them places I wouldn't feel comfortable using the bouncy seat - i.e. kitchen counters, etc. DD wants to see what's going on now and I don't/can't always carry her around, but the Bumbo sort of keeps her in the loop with us. Plus it has the little tray which is pretty cool.
LOVE the Bumbo. It's just a convenient place to put baby when you need to set him/her down for a bit, but they can still be close to you and/or watch what you're doing. ?
Yes to what everyone else has said. I stated putting my daughter in her at 2.5 month just for 5 mintues here and there. She developed neck strength much quicker (in my opinion). We also did tummy time but this was just another option.
I used one with my son and loved it. It was nice to be able to sit him somewhere. He didnt like to lay down so I couldnt just lay him in the pnp or whatever.
He loved to sit in it and play. I used to sit him in it by his activity mat so it was fun for him to play with the toys that way instead of being under them. Just something different. And its super light and portable.
