Bright yellow spit up?

Just fed DD -- she spit up afterward and it was bright yellow.  Has this happened to anyone and do you know what it is?  I haven't seen bright yellow spit up since DD was first born when she would spit up colostrum.  I have a call into the pedi.

    This just happened to us last week. Is she congested? DD was congested for a while and spit up yellow (it looked almost like mustard). We went to the doctor and it was a sinus infection.

    She has been a little congested and sneezing more than normal.  I have a cold that I can't get rid of so maybe she caught it from me. :-(

    It's no fun. She has been on Amoxicillin since Friday. It is clearing her out...poor baby! She has developed a major diaper rash. But she sounds better and acts like she feels better. We just let her bottom air out when we're at home. Thanks goodness her last day of meds is Sunday!

    Yes. It happened once and it was months ago. It almost looked like egg yolk. I called the pedi scared to death and was told that if it was just that once, no to worry that it wasn't a big deal. It never happened again so was a non issue for us.

    They told me what it probably was on the phone but I forgot. It was something about stomach acids or something...... I forgot :(
