If your LO takes a pacifier at bedtime...

Do you have to keep going back in to put it back in their mouth?  My DS goes down for bed pretty easily, but the second the pacifier falls out, he goes beserk.  I have to go back and forth into the bedroom every couple minutes for an extended period of time until he eventually falls asleep and doesn't care that it has fallen out.  Do they grow out of this or do I just have to deal with it indefinitely?

  • sorry no advice here but my LO does this but he is out after the 2nd time it falls out.  The first time it falls out he will cry and I will go in and put it back.  GL

  • LO gets a paci for naps and did the same thing. ?Last week I started putting her on her tummy, and now she keeps the paci in (I think gravity helps keep it in as she's dosing off). ?I no longer have to keep going on twenty million times like i did before.

Seriously though, I am no help here. I sometimes have to go in and put it back in her mouth, but sometimes she could really care less about having it.

My LO did until she started sucking on her hand.  The last 2 weeks if it falls out she just sucks on her fingers.
