How to kill ants...

These tiny little suckers are in my bathroom and in the babies' room. They are making me crazy. I am afraid they are going to get in the crib. HELP! I have tried baby powder and the little bomb/house looking things from raid... they are still crawling (although at a slower rate). Had anyone tried the aspertame popcicle? Any thing else works?

    Ok on a serious note: We used ant hotel things once. ?The ants crawl in them but they never crawl out. ?Other than that I'm not sure what you could use.?

    We just use vinegar. I sprayed where I saw them coming from.

    I haven't seen any since.?

    I bought a huge jug of vinigar.  We wipe off the counters and floors and the ants run the other way.

     

    Plus its safe for DD.  Minus it smells up the whole house.

    Terro Liquid Ant Bait

    these are not baby safe, but if you put them somewhere safe, they work. You leave them out and the ants go in and get the bait, and then take them home and it kills them all. Generally takes a week, but they are gone. We get them every spring, especially when it is rainy (like now!) I just put out a set and I am horrified at how many ants are in the thing taking bait,,, ick, but I know they work.

    Vinegar works if you can to their entry point, but these suckers I get come in where the gas line for the stove comes in, under our porch, and behind the stove, so I can't get to it! GL

    This stuff is fantastic. another vote for terro. but dd gets into EVERYTHING so i haven't put any out. so friggin sick of ants.
