We have been using BGs for about 10mos. Daycare lets us use them. Recently they have seemed to have been leaking. I stripped the diapers and sometimes they still leak. DD was out of daycare for about a week b/c I had some time off. We leaked a few times the first few days I stripped the diapers and had a non-leak day yesterday. Daycare lady says she wants us to start packing sposies. I say NO! What else can I do? ANY advice? Strip them again? Wash them differently? Covers? I don't really want to change brands but I could if need be. I've been pretty pleased with my BGs and don't want to give up on them now. Help!

I understand your side and I am all for cloth diapering, but please understand your daycare lady's side too!
She works very hard and is probably run off her feet all day long. Having a baby who is constantly leaking is a TON of extra work. Not only do you have to wipe down the baby and change the baby's clothes, you have to place them in a bag, clean up the area where they leaked with bleach water, wipe the change table with bleach water, etc. It can be quite a process to follow the hygiene guidelines required when there is a urine spill.
If she is having to do this multiple times a day, it could be extremely taxing and difficult for her. Please don't keep sending leaky diapers to daycare.
Can you get some cheap covers for your daycare lady to use on top of the diapers until you get it sorted out??
I would try switching detergents. ?Look at these two links. ?Also could the "size" be off? ?Maybe make it smaller or larger could it just be a tweener issue? ?We use Planet and have had any issues.
