Is 2 months old to early to STTN?

I'm thinking of trying dreamfeeding tonight before I go to bed to see if DS will sttn?  Is it too early to try to strive for this goal?

Also wanted to add DS is only a few ouces away from doubling his birth weight if that makes any difference.

    DD was sleeping 8 hour stretches at 5-6 weeks. I have always just fed on demand...she just stopped demanding at night.

    Not at all. C did not till 7m, but J did at 4w and has since.

    C has pretty consistently since 7w, pedi said it was fine as long as they are past their birth weight!

    My DD was sleeping 7-8 hour stretches at 2 months.  We didn't really do anything though, she just took it upon her self to sleep more.

    DD has always been good at telling us when she's hungry and when she's not! She dropped that 10pm feeding two weeks ago, so now she's sleeping 10 hours. GL!

    the day DD hit 2 months she started STTN. ?just did it on her own. ?no idea why but loving it!

    Nope! DS has STTN since 4 weeks old. For real. 7-8 hrs/night. He's still not double his birth weight- of course, he was 9.11 at birth! LOL!

    nope, we feed on demand and L started sttn a few weeks ago.  she would go down at 8-9, get up around 3, go back to bed til about 7.  now she goes down 8-9 and skips her 3am feeding.  it's awesome.
