Those who have their LO in daycare...

...when you first started taking them did it throw off the schedule they were originally on?

DS was doing well with his schedule until this week when we started taking him to daycare.  Before he would be awake during the day and take cat naps and sleep mostly through the night.  The past few weeks he's been sleeping less and less but still stays pretty much on schedule.

Now, the Daycare provider tells me he's so good he just sleeps and when I get him home he's up for six hours at a time and having trouble sleeping at night.  Is this normal for it to change with daycare?  I didn't think it would really change since he only goes for four to five hours a day.  I don't want to tell her to wake him up if he's content, but I am having trouble getting things done when I'm home and then losing sleep.

    I don't think that's daycare, I think its just your baby getting older.

    We take B to an in home daycare and yes is schedule was thrown off and he was really fussy for about the first week and a half to two weeks.  It takes them a little bit of adjusting but now he is just fine at home and in daycare.  It does get better with a little time they get back into a routine.
