Playtex Drop-Ins

DS takes these really well, but I really don't want to spend a ton on liners if possible. Is there any reason that we can't wash the liner and re-use it for one or two more feedings? I've also heard that you can use the breastmilk storage bags in them...do you just screw them under the top?

Re: Playtex Drop-Ins

  • Oh yeah I re-use those.  Just rinse out the liner.

  • Buy the target brand liners. they are exactly the same. i saw the 50 pack on sale there yesterday for $1.47.

are you washing them out with soap and water using a bottle brush? if so i guess you could reuse them, but it seems to defeat their purpose. i wouldn't re-use the liner but that's just me.

  • Ditto the Target liners. That's all we used once I found them!

  • The only reason we're using them is because DS won't take any other bottles very well. I don't mind washing the liners with my pump parts in the evening if I need to, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't unsafe for some reason.

I'll check out the Target brand - that seems a lot more economical than the Playtex ones!

  • fyi - the nipples on the Playtex Ventaire Advanced Wide (or something!) are the same and interchangable as with the Drop Ins.  I use both.

Ditto pp- many of the Platex bottles use the same nipple.  We don't reuse the liners and we buy the Target brand.
