Why is it people find a way back into your life.... (vent)

whether you want them to or not? I just got a text from an unknown number asking if it was still my phone number and if it is then happy belated birthday (mine was last week)

I asked who it was and found out it was my ex boyfriend's best friend. I don't know if they're even friends anymore or what but still. Inadvertently, my ex has been brought to my mind after trying to forget him for the last seven years. 

I am happily married and love my life but I just hate having a reminder of him at all. I was miserable back then and suffered a horrible breakdown and it took me years to recover. I just want to move on and not have his f-ing friends sending me messages! 

Sorry, vent over. But do you know what I mean?

    I know EXACTLY what you mean! My ex called me 2 am this morning to vent about how he is upset that I have moved on and having a baby with someone else. The nerve! I have moved on with my life, he should do the same.Angry

    Perfect time for that vent IMO. I totally get it.  My ex- who I want nothing to do with at all-has been calling me every day for the last two weeks. He calls from a work number (that I knew from when we were dating) but never leaves a message. And I don't answer.  I love my life now and have no desire to remember those days with him or have him have any knowledge of my life now.  It's annoying and I hate the reminder too.  He'll do this occasionally.  When DH answers once in a while, he'll just hang up. The really lame part is he has two children and a wife and still does this crap.  Move on.

    I know what you mean. My ex found me on myspace after he heard I was having a baby.I don't think he realized it took all I had to move on from him and for once I'm happy with everything in my life and I want to keep it that way without him in it.
