I just lost my mucous plug need advice

in 3rd Trimester

I just went to the bathroom and after I wiped and noticed a difference sorry for the TMI (but I found it on the floor).  I am excited yet I planned to do grocery shopping this morning and some other errands?  Do you think I should bring someone along with me if possible or am I over reacting?

    Hmmmm....I know you can lose your MP a while before going into labor but where you are so close to your due date, I don't know if I'd chance it.  You'd probably be ok, but what if you start having bad contrax and are driving alone.  Is there someone around that can go with you or for you?

    You are probably ok to grocery shop alone....unless of course you also are having contractions or you water has broken as well. 

    To ease your mind you might want to let someone know your plans just in case.

    You can go. You can lose your plug and still not go into labor. GL though!

    I lost mine over a week ago... nothing changed. Just a little more discharge. It could be weeks before anything happens. I think you're ok to head out alone.

    From what I've heard you can lose your mucous plug and not go into labor for several days or even weeks.  So my guess is that you should be fine - but you might want to start carrying an extra pair of pants in your car from this point on in case your water breaks!

    I lost mine almost 2 days before DS was born. So it doesn't always mean labor will happen right away. I would still make my errands as if nothing is wrong but make sure i had the ability to call some one for help if I needed it while out. ?

    It looks like you might be getting close to holding your little angel soon! :) ?

    Usually I wouldn't act like this but since my due date is two days away I am assuming that this is a sign hopefully.

    I lost my plug about 7 weeks ago and mine is still in there I am only a lil bit dilated but in my case that doesnt have anything to do with losing my plug. Just be careful....
