Not super in love with any maternity clothes
Since it hit 90 degrees here, I've decided I hate all my maternity clothes.
I have my glucose test Friday, then we head out on vacation for a week.
Have you found any certain Maternity clothing that you absolutely love or hate?
I am totally in love with my Motherhood Maternity secret fit jeans
I'm short (5'1") and their petites fit me perfectly. I especially love this pair of flare jeans.
Old Navy/Gap has been iffy. I tried a couple of Old Navy's full panel pants ~ awful! The elastic at the top of the panel was too tight and hurts to wear. I've also struggled with sizing. Some medium tops fit me, other tops look 2 sizes too big.
So far I've been able to stick with some regular Hanes undies in a bikini cut.
I hate maternity clothes. I am actually not wearing them yet. Maybe a couple shirts from Old Navy but that's about it.
I worked out in the yard this weekend. Planted a ton of flowers! My legs are sore but I am feeling great other than that!
Good morning! Hope everyone had a good weekend. I'm approaching v-day this weeks, so I'm pretty excited about that! Not too much else going on though. I did let the nesting bug take over this weekend, so my house is pretty clean.
As far a maternity clothes go, I'm not really in love with anything, I miss my old clothes. I have bought most of mine at Kohl's and JcPenny and for the most part their pretty comfy. Have a good day ladies, see you Wednesday!?
I built set with my drama kids yesterday and I think I overdid it - I'm completely achy and EXHAUSTED. That also might be becuase I haven't been sleeping well, too, though...
I have a pair of lightweight Motherhood pants that roll up and button to become capris and I *love* them. They are supercomfy and a good length for me so I got them in white and khaki - and I'm kind of thinking of getting a 3rd color.

Good Morning. I'm actually getting ready to leave for my 2nd level 2 u/s this morning. My last one, that was done at 20 weeks, they were not able to see everything (mainly the spine) clearly b/c of our little man's positioning. Hopefully today they will confirm everything is ok and we are having a healthy baby boy!
Maternity clothes are super comfy for me....I mainly shop at motherhood maternity. I do however hate the way my pants keep riding down. I love how the elastic is not as tight on the new maternity pants however they don't hold everything up. Oh well, guess there are worse things in life.
I'm not really in any maternity clothes yet...I have a few tops, but thats about it. But in my book anything that is comfortable gets an A+! Not much to update on this week, have a Dr apt Friday and tomorrow's my birthday!

I love my maternity dresses. They're cool, comfortable and make my bump look cute while hiding my growing thighs and butt.
I don't like my maternity jean capri's because they start off too big and are now getting too small. I don't want to buy another pair so I stick with the skirts and dresses as I get bigger.
Only 100 days to go!!!!!
I absolutely LOVE the Secret Fit maternity bottoms, they are the best things invented for preggos!

Hmm...not in love with any of my clothes yet...but...once the weather gets warmer I have few dresses that look really cute. Most of them are actually not maternity clothes but emipre dresses from last summer. I do have a few t-shirts from Thyme Maternity and I love my bella band my mom made me for dress pants for work.
Dr. appointment tomorrow. Can't wait to hear the heartbeat again.

Love: Cotton dresses (Old Navy are the best, and so cheap!)
Hate: Below the belly maternity pants (waistband is so uncomfortable!)
Great questions this week! DH and I had a productive weekend...we made our first BIG baby purchase. We got our stroller (the Uppababy Vista), a Britax convertible car seat, and our infant car seat. 3 big ticket, but necessary items. It is nice to have that out of the way!

I'm in double digits! I can't believe how fast time is flying by - we only have 3 1/2 weeks of school left and then summer vacation! I'm very much counting down the days...can you tell?
I absolutely love a few of my shirts that are maternity...Although they have started to shrink and won't last much longer...I plan on buying a couple of knit dresses today since I won't be getting any relief in the heat department around here!
I had to work all weekend (running a tournament and standing on your feet in flip-flops all day is not a great idea!) But we had a date night and got to go to dinner with some friends from out of town. And the best part was my Canes shut out the Bruins last night!!!

The only thing I absolutely love are those LizLange black cotton 'work' pants from Target. They are just glorified loose fitting yoga pants but if I could wear them every single day I would.
Not loving any maternity clothes except the super soft yoga type things that don't annoy my low belly!
The old Mimi line (now Pea in the Pod) t-shirts seem ok. My first pregnancy, I was all about the Gap but I don't seem to like anything.
Monday QOTD: Have you found any certain Maternity clothing that you absolutely love or hate? ?I know this is boring, but pre-pregnancy I was always a Gap/Old Navy girl, and the same is true for me with maternity clothes. ?In fact, I'm so completely consistent that the maternity jeans that fit me best are the same exact cut as my pre-pregnancy jeans, Gap's long and lean.
This week at work is going to suuuuuck! ?Work for me is only going to get more crazy as the summer goes on ? this big project I work on yearly pretty much climaxes in June and July and things around here are going to get very hectic and stressful. ?Awesome, eh? ?This week in particular I am annoyed because I have to commute down to New York on Wednesday morning for a meeting regarding a smaller project that is going to take place entirely while I am on maternity leave! ?Ugh. ?And it's my first trip to NYC ? down and back in a matter of a few hours, I'll only be in the city from 9:30am to 2pm! ?Blaaaaah.?

My knees are very achy. And I have somehow pulled a muscle in my right shoulder, making it impossible to sleep on my right side. As if sleeping wasn't uncomfortable enough for me, now I am confined to sleeping on my left side. Even sleeping on my back, but angled so that I am still on my left side, is uncomfortable because it pulls on the sore muscle in my shoulder. Argh!....
QOTD: Yes, I have a pair of George (walmart) maternity yoga pants I bought in December that are still serving me quite well although they are fading from the dark black they once were.
We started packing on the weekend, we found a 2bd apartment that we're moving to on the 30th of this month... DH is trying to find lots of help so I don't have to do anything but make lunch for everyone who helps. And if that's too much, we'll just order food in, even better!
I have a pair of Gap Jean Capris- they are over the belly- and the material is like a panty hose material- soooooooooo comfortable!
I also have some vera wang tops from kohls that arent maternity but are very comfy and loose:)

QOTD: I really don't like my Old Navy jeans with the roll panel. The elastic is so uncomfortable. It's about to be summer so I am NOT buying more jeans. I have a few pairs of shorts my SIL gave me. They show off my enormous thighs, but by that time I probably won't care.
I have discovered that I LOVE dresses, though. I bought a couple this weekend that aren't maternity so I can wear them afterwards. I'm pretty excited about them.
My maternity "best buys"...
For tall, overweight girls (I am 5'9" and 240lbs) I could not find ANY maternity pants that were long enough for work, so I went to J.Jill's website and ordered the "Wearever" long wide-leg pants in an XL tall and they work perfectly. They are actually a little too long. I wear them to work 3-4 days per week. I thnk they will probably get me all the way to the end of July. After that, it'll probably be all skirts/dresses.
Also, I LOVE Bare Necessities for bras. I am currently in a 38G (from a 36DD pre-pg) and I ordered a ton of bras from them to try (I think I ordered 10-12, and kept 3.) They make orders and returns easy, you can find a coupon code on retailmenot.com to get 20% off. I even managed to find one "sexy bra" (white mesh with lace trim) for those times when I don't want to feel like a dowdy old pregnant lady!
I also lucked out with craigslist and bought a lot of 10 shirts for $40. All but one fit, and I have loved a couple of them even more than what I picked out myself.

I have found that I hate ALL maternity clothes. I think it is a way to shame us or something. Why all the floral patterns and stripes? I am sticking to buying XL shirts and using my belly band with my normal pants. Although I did go to ON and buy a pair of jeans in the next size. That worked out.
