i have a paragard.
i am 4 days late.
i just took a digital.
30 seconds--Pregnant. clear as day.
i am shaking and on hold with the dr's office.

I was contemplating paragaurd...now I am not so sure about it after reading that! I'm sure it doesn't happen often though...but it is probably something that would happen to me too!
well, i hope that this one is better for you. don't think that this one will be bad bc the first one was. all pregnancies/deliveries can be different. good luck and let it sink in... everything will work out.
i just talked to my dr. i have an hcg test at 10 am on monday. he said we will figure it out. he told me it was still really early, but when i told him it was a digital he was like, "oh."
i don't know what to do. H's phone is off because he is playing golf. i am bawling. DS just wants to play. i can't call my family. i don't want anymore kids.

on the plus side, i'm sure you are an absolutely fantastic mother and as bad as it seems now, things always have a way of working themselves out...

Breathe. It's not unusual for IUDs to mess with your cycle. There are such things as chemical pregnancies and false positives.
No matter what happens you'll make it work.
Give your doctor a call and make an appointment asap.

ETA: Sorry I didn't read your follow up about already having called your doc. ((( more hugs ))) It'll be okay. You have time to catch your breath, talk to over with your H and your doc, breathe, and decide how you would like to handle this.

Oh no! I would be freaking out too if this happened. Do whatever you can to make life easier on yourself. Maybe, having gone through a difficult pregnancy the first time, you will be prepared for it & it will be better this time.

Oh no! I can't imagine how upset you are! It'll work out though and you'll have another beautiful child to love. Not to be morbid or anything, but aren't the odds of having a miscarriage a lot higher if you get pregnant while having an IUD?
I'm sorry this isn't what you expected/planned. You have said before that you trust God...while this is probably a very difficult time, that's usually when we really need to trust him. This will all work out. I promise. I have tears in my eyes because I think this may have been how my mom reacted when she found out she was pregnant with me...not that she was wrong or that you are..I just feel bad for her and you. It's supposed to be a happy occasion, you know..but that just isn't always the case.
I will definitely keep you in prayer. Update us on what the doctor says and all. ((HUGS))

Don't worry, each pregnancy and delivery is different. My pregnancies were pretty similar, but my deliveries couldn't have been more different. First I had an emergency c-section after I didn't dilate past 7 cm, and 18 hours of labor! This last time the whole labor and delivery lasted 7 hours from start to finish and I had a vbac.
