Question about freezing chicken puree

While cooking dinner last night, I made extra chicken for my baby. Today I puree'd the chicken with peas, carrots and brown rice. Now I want to freeze it.

 Is it ok to freeze chicken made the night before? Usually I make the chicken fresh and then freeze it..

I get nervous with meat and I'm new in the kitchen as it is! Thanks for your input.
