I have had four in my lifetime although two are now gone. I had them removed before laser was really that good so I have a giant scar. I would love to get the one on shoulder lasered off since it is 20 years old, more green than black and everything sort of bleeds together with time. I have another on one side of my stomach that is going to look trippy in another few months.
I have a few. The dove of hope on my left hip...gotten with an ex on his birthday...old school and covering it one day would not upset me. A butterfly just under my toes on my left foot...gotten with my little sis on a Spring Break in Florida. A celtic cross with a purple cancer ribbon in the center...9 women in my family got it together (in different places, I have it on my right shoulder) after my Mom survived a very dangerous cancer...it's a little larger than my style...but I love the sentiment...I wish we had just done the ribbon. And finallly stars on the underside of my left wrist. Drawn for me by a friend the night before he died. Took me 5 years to get it...and it was supposed to be an ankle one..but..and I got it with my Dad (his 1st!) and little sister (her 1st too!). I am getting a flower on my left foot top so that it looks like the butterfly flew off it. And my children's names will go in the petals. But I have to find a good artist first.
