If you used a sleeping wedge for your infant...

Which one did you use?

Where did you use it (crib, basinett, co-sleeping, couch, etc)??

Did it help your baby sleep better?

My son almost always spit-up when he lies flat, so I was thinking about getting a wedge for him, but there are so many different ones out there. Just looking for recs from moms that have used them.?

    B also had minor reflux, I used the elevated one. Inclined to sleep I think.

    I used the Babies R Us brand (blue and yellow box with the yellow bear) sleep wedge. I bought another brand for my girlfriend recently and ended up mailing her my wedge because I felt it was better and safer than the other more expensive brand I bought her.

    Co-Sleeper for the first couple nights, PNP bassinet during the day, and the crib when I moved Jack to it at about a week old.

    I used it from day one so I can't tell you if it actually helped or not. He didn't have a whole lot of spit up issues, but he did have his gas issues.

    I don't remember what brand it is, but it's we did the wedge with sleep positioner.  The wedge has built-in velcro so the sleep positioner can be adjusted to comfort.  If we didn't use the positioner DS would slide down to the bottom of the wedge.  I think it also made him feel more secure, almost like he was being held.  We used it in his bassinet and it worked great.

    I used it briefly with both DC's....DD has been congested and sickly with a cold/virus since we brought her home from the hospital.  The wedge keeps her a bit more comfortable and allows her to breath better.  I've mostly used them in the kids' cribs since that's where they both started out sleeping.  I have used it in the bassinet a few times as well.  Can't remember the brand though.

    We had the Tucker wedge with sling for DS.  Our insurance company provided it b/c of his reflux.  It worked pretty well and actually he seemed pretty comfortable in it.  We used it on the floor or in his crib.
