Parenting after a Loss

OK. Officially pissed at DH

The baby is a cranky spitting up miserable mess today.. DH is off.. Everytime she starts to cry she gets handed to me.. I was making lunch today and she started crying and he says "Come help me!". so I get him her gas drops and he couldn't even give them to her alone becuase "he only had one hand".... You know.. like I only have one hand everyday while he's gone for 14 hours everyday.. Now she is still screaming and he is outside with his friend. the house is a mess..  She has puked on me (a LOT) 4 times today.. At one point he came inside and she was crying and he had the nerve to comment that I was typing on the computer while she was crying.. UM, ok,, and what are you doing?

Re: OK. Officially pissed at DH

  • I'm sorry sweetie.  DHs can be total morons.  Mine could have won contests for being a jackhole a few months ago.  It does get better... partially b/c you get better at being a mom, partially b/c your LO grows up a little & starts to be more fun, & partially b/c DHs start to catch on a little.  Hang in there.

  • Yuck, sorry your DH isn't being helpful. ?You should plan a night out and have him take all responsibility for you baby.

Hope your baby feels better and gives you some rest?

  • I'm sorry. ?:(
