anyone have a DC whose fontanelle closed early?

We saw the pediatrician this morning and she seemed concerned about this. ?We are taking Evan for skull xrays on Friday to make sure that the skull sutures are still open.... ?apparently this can be a big problem. ?Does anyone know anything about this? ?TIA

    Well my neice had this and is being watched but also my DH sister had it. With her they did surgery to open the sututres. THis was YEARS ago but she was fine....

    Thanks ladies! ?I'm trying not to freak out too much until we know there's a problem, but it's tough.... ?i'm a glutton for punishment and made the mistake of googling...... ? stupid stupid stupid... ? i'll keep you posted.
