anyone have a DC whose fontanelle closed early?

We saw the pediatrician this morning and she seemed concerned about this. ?We are taking Evan for skull xrays on Friday to make sure that the skull sutures are still open.... ?apparently this can be a big problem. ?Does anyone know anything about this? ?TIA

    there is a girl on the CO board (my local board) named MrsNesk whose son has craniosynostosis. She'll be able to help you if you page her over there :)

    Well my neice had this and is being watched but also my DH sister had it. With her they did surgery to open the sututres. THis was YEARS ago but she was fine....
