Dallas-Fort Worth Babies

I'm going to kill my husband.

He just IMed me on gmail to tell me to 'come home right away - I just locked my keys, phone and the baby in my truck'.

Are you effing KIDDING me?!!  We don't have a home phone, so he had no way to call pop-a-lock or something.  Thank goodness I work with my MIL (who is VP at this company and can leave without anyone saying anything) - she drove home to rescue my baby ... who slept through the whole thing.

All I have to say is that my husband is DAMN lucky that it's only 72* outside right now.

Re: I'm going to kill my husband.

  • Oh SNAP!

Glad the mouse is ok, hopefully you will cool down before you get home! I would be totally pissed too.

  • I'm guessing he is lucky it was your MIL that saved him!
  • That sucks!!

BUT I must admit that I did that one time with my oldest DS.  I was at CVS and put him in the car, at during that I guess the "lock the car" button on the keychain got pushed and I shut his door.  When I tried to open mine, it was locked.  The lady in CVS called the police and a couple minutes later came a police and fire truck (yes with lights and sirens) to get my son out of the car.  VERY embarrasing if you were wondering:)

  • I am so scared i am going to do this, but i would be pretty pissed at DH if he did it.  I'm mean that way sometimes

Oh I totally agree.  If DH had done it, it would've been another story :)

  • He must have been thanking his lucky stars when his mother showed up instead of you.

Ditto....I can imagine the fear that ran through him.

  • Yikes! Yep, I'll bet her was glad it was his mama instead of you, ha!
  • At least he did on a day that was 70-something degrees like you said. I am willing to bet that it will never happen again.?

He's lucky mom came to save the day!

  • Oh my!  My husband probably wouldn't have called me....he would have found a way to get her out and then told me later : )  We still laugh about the time we eat Sushi and we walked into the restaurant and he had left her in her carrier in the car.  I was like.....ummm, are we taking our daughter inside?!
