Swine Flu...

Is anyone else worried about going into the hosp. when there is a possible epidemic on our hands? MIL asked me this ? and I didnt see any cause for concern, she thinks that I should give up my dr. ( 4 days before my EDD) and ask one of his midwives to deliver at a birthing center...Confused  There hasnt even been any concern in my area yet.

    i really wouldnt worry about it. All of the cases are in there own areas and also locked away so that they wont spread.

    Eh.... nah. If you were going to the ER, that'd be different, but since you'll be going to L&D, I would hope that it would be better. But who knows.

    I hadn't thought about the hospital but I will say that I have been extra careful to not get out unless necessary and wash my hands more than normal. I am more worried about after she gets here. I wasn't planning on avoiding going out if I needed to but now I will probably schedule any outings around someone being able to stay at home with her.
