for being a plant murderer.?

Seriously, why can I not keep a plant alive?! ?And absolutely 100% forget about it if the freaking thing is supposed to flower. ?My home is where plants come to die.

I planted some snapdragons a few weeks ago, did everything just like I was supposed to and they are deaddeaddead in my front yard right now. ?Sigh.

Thank god I'm good w/ babies and cats. ??

I am USELESS with plants, too. We have a basil and a parsley now and I am obsessing. I will.not.let this basil die. The last one died in 2 days!

I just don't know wtf I'm doing. I was out gardening with C and had to come inside b/c I'm sure I pulled up half the 'real' plants in our garden.

I'm right there with you...I managed to kill a small palm tree once. I fell on it. I also sunburned my ex-bf tropical plact by leaving it outside (don't plants need plenty of sun?). I can't even keep my back yard green.

DH's ex wife planted a garden once and read that you should name your garden, something about personalizing it. He suggested she name it Deathrow.

LOL.. I could've written this. ?Everytime I have flowers or get a hanging basket, etc.. they're dead in no time. ?

Each summer/spring I say I want to plant flowers and DH just looks at me like a crazy person b/c he knows I'll just kill them.?

My DH has the green thumb. When he's gone, I just pray that the plants live (and water them occasionally).

We had a plant that committed suicide once. It was trying to lean to the sun and it uprooted itself and fell off the entertainment center.

MIL bought me a flower/plant as congratulations when I started my new job. It took me a few days to move it to a pot, and it was wilting when I did. I assumed that potting it would help. Nope. It said to keep soil moist. I put it in the kind of pot that has two sections, one for water and one for the soil so that the water seeps into the other pot. It's supposed to keep the soil moist. Stupid plant started dying. I assumed it was over watered and dumped the water out so I could water it normally. Didn't help. I set it outside for a day thinking it needed more sun. That about killed it. I thought about planting it outside to see if it would come back, but we had a few nights that went below freezing, and now it's dead so I don't have a chance to try. Bottom line. Do not buy me plants as gifts.

Like Krisbri said, houseplants better look out in my house. I think there's a dead collection in our office right now. My outside is awesome though. All gardeners have the occasional casualty, but I love my gardens outside.
