A few of you had questions re: Devyn..
Sorry to take so long, but for those of you that had questions last night about Devyn..
My cousin Erin ( NOT devyns mom) added the paypal for donations from OUR family..they have 5 boys total, and one has autism. Now Devyn is on life support and the family is torn. They are doing their best, but obviously my cousin Nicole and her husband are not working. They have bills to pay and our family asked us to put up an account for them to donate to. With 169 people in the family its difficult for them all to send cards, not to mention the PICU where Devyn is does not allow cards, balloons, flowers, etc. Some of our family is out of state as well. Also, some friends of the family were wanting to donate and asked if they had an account. So my cousin Erin put one together for the friends and family. All we ask is for is prayer.. prayers are more powerful than anything! It was a debate on whether we should put the paypal up in the first place, Nikki said no, but the family felt it was the best and easiest way without having to directly give it to them.
And to answer your question about what happened, he drowned in the pool. Could not have been under more than 2 minutes, but was gone ,for what the doctors believe to be about 10 minutes. They revived him and he is now on life support. Today they will decide to take the life support off or not.
Your questions were not insensitive at all. Just step into their shoes. Would you work while your baby was on life support and anything could happen at any moment? Perfectly appropriate question, there is just no way to have it available for friends and family, but hide it from "supporters". Know what I mean?
Thank you again for all of your prayers and support. Today is going to be a hard one.

It's okay.. I understand the question.. believe me.. I have struggled sharing the story alone because of it being on there and didnt want people to judge, but I have to keep remembering it isnt about anything but Devyn.. and me doing what I can to support him and spread the prayer request. My family is HUGE into prayers, and to be frank, they have worked so far. I remember when I FIRST got the call. All I heard was "Brittany Devyn is gone. He is not responding and he is dead". I began to pray while pumping gas.. the next phone call was " He has a heart beat!"..

How are things? It sure has been a while.
