how to attach ribbon to wall letters

I bought wall letters and I'm going to get different scrap book paper to glue on the front.  I will probably paint the sides too.  But what is the best way to attach the ribbon that it hangs from?

    If the letters are made out of wood then I would use a staple gun to attach the ribbon.  I wouldn't trust glue alone.

    I would try a hot glue gun (be careful) or have DH drill small little holes at the top to run the ribbon through... Have fun!  :o)

    I used a hot glue gun for dd's room and she is now 2...they have stayed up without problems. I bought little craft wooden flowers that I then painted from Michael's that have hooks at the bottom and hung from there.

    Try the foam tape, you know foam in the middle and stick on both sides.  It worked for me.
