Graco Quattro Tour Duo vs. DuoGlider

Do any of you have an opinion on either of these strollers?  My only opinion is that I don't like the red color of the Quattro Tour Duo at BRU.  Other than that, I'm unable to figure out whether or not the Quattro Tour has much better qualities/features that make it worth the much higher price.

Re: Graco Quattro Tour Duo vs. DuoGlider

  • I can't speak to the Quattro, but I LOVE my DuoGlider.  I'm one of those crazy people who has 3 different strollers.  Jeep side by side, the Duo Glider and the snap and go.  All have their benefits by my favorite by far is the DuoGlider.  Not much help I know...

  • I have a Quattro Tour Duo (in Milan--it's pretty!).  It folds up a little smaller than the Duoglider--more of a box shape as opposed to the long fold of the Duoglider.  However, it is also heavier than the Duoglider.  I did not buy the Duoglider originally because I did not like how the front tray scraped the ground when you folded it.  However, looking back, I probably should have bought it because it is lighter.
  • A sales associate at BRU told me Graco is discontinuing the DuoGlider and its warranty, etc. I don't know for sure though; maybe he was just saying that to sell the more $$ Tour duo.
  • I registered for the Quattro at Walmart because there was a bigger selection and it was a bit cheaper.  I know that it is a heavier stroller but I really liked it much more than the DuoGlider.  With that said I will probably wish that I had asked for the lighter one once the babies arrive!

  • They only had the DuoGlider when my girls were born. When the Quattro came out I was jealous. Until I realized that the long, narrow fold of the DuoGlider fit in my van better than the shorter, fatter fold of the Quattro would have.
  • Thank you everyone!  I think I'll go with the DuoGlider.
  • My husband spent about 30 minutes trying to break the 2 when we registered (he's an engineer lol) anyways we went with the quattro tour duo, just because it was stronger.
  • After reading a lot of reviews and trying it out for ourselves, we opted for the Quattro Tour Rittenhouse pattern.  It is a bit heavy, but it felt very sturdy and folded up nicely.  GL :-)
