I really need some help here - I have been in search for new bras. I got re-measured and apparently I am technically a 32DD, but can also buy 34DD. Apparently after much futile searching this weekend, this is an odd size. The very, very few ones I found in my size had huge thick straps which dont really work well with the tanks & sundresses I usually wear.
So does anyone have any advice where I can find bras in this size with thinner style straps? (im looking for a reasonably priced option, Ive checked target & walmart and no luck. Victorias secret - Im running into the same problem with the straps & I would have to order online since the store doesnt carry the size).
Im new to this as I was a 32B when I got married.
Re: serious bra help
GL, I unfortunatly don't have any advice for you. I'm a 34DD and can not find bras anywhere. It sucks! They apparently think that a size 32 or 34 shouldn't be a DD.

I'm a 34E and wear a 36DD from Victoria's Secret. It's the very sexy deep plunge. Because its so low cut you don't end up with double boobage.
That being said I'm starting to creep out of mine as I very scarily become more than a 34E....
it's called a kilt, he's scottish
This. I was measured at a 36 DDD and found some really pretty bras. HTH
How about Nordstrom's? They carry lots of "odd" sizes in different designs. You could also try a strapless/convertible bra in your size for your tanks and summer dresses since the straps are thinner.
The reason DD bras have thicker straps is to help with support and lessen digging in...you may find that they are actually more comfortable. GL!
