They look like the ones we have (but I'm not running down to check). If they are, I didn't like that they have a pretty fast flow. We use Dr. Brown's because I like the slow flow nipples.
The silicone nurser was the first bottle DS took. We tried the playtex dropins and medela before the Nuby all in one night - his first night trying the bottle. The first two both seemed to drip too much when I flipped them and he seemed to choke on them (granted, he was just learning). The Nuby didn't drip when I flipped it (slower flow, I guess) and he did much better with that. However, the next several times we used it the milk seemed to pour right out of the nipple unless I squeezed it a few times (maybe it repositioned the hole or something). I did finally figure out that if you squeeze the bottle (silicone bottle) before turning it up for LO, it created a reverse suction that prevented the nipple from pouring out. By the time I figured that out, however, we tried the Dropins again and those work very well for us now.
So they are ok, but after DS learned how to use an artificial nipple on them we don't have much need for them. I had just bought 2 more when I figured out the nipple flow was really unpredictable and they just didn't work as well for us as the playtex. So I was really bummed that I had already sterilized them and couldn't return the extras. At that price, having the one bottle was helpful for us in the beginning because it was the only way we were able to get bottles started; BUT I definitely didn't need to buy more of them after that, especially at the high price they have. Oh, well, Hindsight is 20/20.
