I'm so new to this whole EFF thing and I am getting overwhelmed by all of the info out there! I want to make my own cloth wipe solution - can you share how you make yours, please? Also, is it better to pour the solution over the wipes and keep them in the warmer or to just have the spray bottle handy and wet the wipe before using?
Thank you so much!
Re: Baby wipe solution help please!
I fill a peri bottle with tap water and then add a few drops of baby wash.
I keep the "wipes" (actually, baby washcloths reserved for this purpose) dry and squirt them with the peri bottle when it's time to wipe.
I use a mixture of water, soap & essential oil. I have also added in some apple cider vinegar for extra antibac properties.
But I do know that there is a Nestie who is working on a wipe solution concentrate to sell on Etsy. It will be a little bit before she's got it ready to rock and roll but I know I can't wait to buy some from her!
And hopefully this post will help kick her butt to get it listed. Can you tell I'm excited for her?
I usually use some tea tree oil and lavender. If she has any kind of redness or rash I'll use lavender and cedarwood together.
But if I were you I'd stay away from anything with cilantro.
LMAO!
